45Do not think that I will accuse you to the Father: there is one that accuseth you, even Moses, in whom ye trust.
46For had ye believed Moses, ye would have believed me; for he wrote of me.
47But if ye believe not his writings, how shall ye believe my words?
This scripture blows my mind.
absolutely. I always take that as a very powerful reason to give people the full Bible instead of just a New Testament, because the whole thing is God’s word and… the Old Testament has a powerful, powerful testimony. I know there is a risk that people will not listen to me when I say “start with the gospel books” lol because I didn’t listen when my friend told me to start with the gospels; but knowing where I stand right now I think God has planned his word in the perfect way and I love it whole.
